The art of living is the art of changing directions. A labyrinth imitates Life's journey taking you through reversals or constant turning points, but they are designed to ultimately return you to your center. They provide a direct passageway to enter the NOW, bringing you into the present moment.
Because the Prairie Labyrinth is cut into living grasses, the path changes every day, reflecting your own cycles of evolution.
Walking a labyrinth is a simple whole-body prayer, reconnecting you with the Presence that lies within.
Overview:
Since 1987, Toby Evans has been practicing earth stewardship on property
purchased near Kansas City, Missouri. During this time a prairie restoration project was initiated by planting warm season grasses on 5 acres. The project evolved from a network of paths cut around the perimeter of the prairie to constructing and maintaining a single-path labyrinth in the center. A Seven-Circuit, Classical pattern was mowed into the grass on March 23, 1995 by Toby and Mary K Barge. It is called the Prairie Labyrinth.
Integrating color, sound and symbols, the seven paths were set up to correspond with the order of the Chakras.
Using the pathways as a centering practice for herself and hundreds of others, Toby was guided to write her own amazing story in
"Keeper of the Circles: Answering the Call to Wholeness" and develop the companioning "Chakra Labyrinth Cards".

$50.00 per person. $40.00 per person for groups of 5 or more.
A guided induction process and introduction to the Prairie Labyrinth precedes your personal time in the labyrinth. Includes measuring your energy field (aura) with dowsing rods before and after walking to visually see the impact walking the labyrinth has on you. Chakra Labyrinth Cards are available to use as part of your experience. Allow 2-3 hours.

at the Prairie Labyrinth or Toby brings labyrinth experiences to others by traveling with a portable 17 foot, seven-circuit Chakra Labyrinth.
Her interactive experiential workshops include using the Chakra Labyrinth Cards. She is an inspiring addition to seminars, retreats or spiritual gatherings.

The 17 foot portable "Chakra Labyrinth" was created by Mary K Barge sewn
out of rip-stop nylon. It can be used in any setting. Outer loops are attached to secure
it to the ground for outdoor walking experiences or it can be secured with duck tape in an indoor setting.
It is available to rent for $355.00 (plus shipping) per week.
